Ferrari Lamborghini | 2010 Paris Motor Show: Lotus Hits Us With Five Concepts

We reported recently on the Lotus Elite Concept , due for unveiling at this weeks Paris Motor Show . Well while we were obviously expecting to see this and possibly a second, if not a third concept from the famous sports car manufacturer. Lotus surprised us all by pulling the covers off five new vehicles.

According to Autoblog , Dany Bahar CEO of Lotus, announced that the company was entering a new era. The cars unveiled show that Lotus has revitalised its entire range, revealed were Esprit, Elan, Elite, Elise and Eterne concepts. This new range will be set to take on the large players such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin.

One things for certain the styling of the new concepts lend themselves to the sports car market, although some may say that Lotus should stick to what they know in building ultra light weight road cars. Is there the right space in the market for Lotus to be taken seriously against such competition as Italian giants Ferrari?
