For those people who do not know much about racing, the enthusiasms of racing the terms like torque, rpm may seem odd and vast for them. But not for those who love racing and enjoy it as no other can. When you speak of racing cars it gets better and better as the speed of the car gets better. The car is best if its more faster.
Now when racing cars manufacturers have tagged their cars with high speeds it is difficult to know which is the fastest cars among all. One cannot rely on the numbers given by the manufacturers. One way to know which might be the fastest car is by testing it on the speed ranging from 60mph to 100mph. thus it might be possible in this way to rank the fastest moving car.
Here is a list of the list of top 10 fastest cars in the world.
Coming at the Number 10 spot is the Lamborghini Gallardo, it has got a V10 engine that produces a horse power of 520. This huge amount of power gives the car boost from 0-100 Km/h within 13.65 seconds. The gallardos time if translated is 0-60mph in 4 seconds even faster than Murcielago.
At the ninth spot is the Porsche 911 Turbo. It has been quite famous among the supercars since 1964. Even with its 480 horsepower the 911 goes from 0-100 Km/h just in 12.5 seconds.
Coming at the eighth position is the Caterham CSR260. The weight of the car is lower that's why even with the 2.4 liter of engine producing just 250 hp it goes to 100 Km/h in time of 11.95 seconds.
Pagani Zonda is the seventh fastest car. It carries with it The Mercedes AMG 7.3-liter V12 engine which produces a horsepower of 555. This makes it possible to speed up to 100 Km/h just in 11.8 seconds.
Porsche Carrera GT comes at sixth place, with its huge V10 engine it speeds up to 10 Km/h within 11.6 seconds.
McLaren F1 LM, one of the most unique cars in the world of racing, grabs the fifth spot. It accelerates up to 100 Km/h from stand still position in just 11.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 240mph.
Ferrari Enzo takes the fourth place accelerating from 0-100 Km/h just in10.9 seconds.
The third place is taken by The Ariel Atom which speeds up to 100 Km/h in just 10.88 seconds.
With the second place as the fastest car comes the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. The W16 engine produces a horsepower of 1001 and accelerating the car from 0-100Km/h in 9.9 seconds.
Shining at the first place is the Ultima GTR, the fastest car in the world. It accelerates from 0-100Km/h just in 9.4 seconds.
