Among these paintings are some stunning images of cars that have featured in the annual Circuit des Remparts in France and the Goodwood festival in Sussex, England.
According to ClassicRallies.com, "John Gregson's body of work is a triumph of detail and contrast of light and reflection". From Bentley's to Ferrari's and Jags to MG's, the likeness between the paintings and the real deal is spectacular. To produce such a mirage of picture perfect paintings you would have to pay particular attention to detail, which is a clear indication of Gregson's fascination with classic cars.
They say a picture paints a thousand words and I'm sure there will be a lot of complementary words said about these flawless pictures that reflect some of the most famous classic car marques of all time. The characteristics of the quintessential British Bentley can be seen through the intricate details that this painter has managed to capture as well as the sleek ostentatious allure of the Ferrari.
The "unique perspectives" that Gregson chooses to create his masterpiece paintings reflects the estimated starting value of between 3,000 and 4,000. There's no "side-views sitting on gravelled drives" with this artist, it's the rough and ready edgy angles that make the paintings so realistic and fascinating.
